This week was full of so many miracles I honestly couldn't believe it. The mission has absolutely exploded with people wanting to be baptized and it has been such an amazing opportunity to watch the growth of all the investigators that we have been serving. Also before I say more huge shoutout to LP for getting called to serve the Lantinos down south in Chile.
The biggest miracle on my mission possibly so far happened this past Saturday. Elder Moss and I were tracting around 8:30 and we were about to go to visit one of the members but we both just for some reason stopped outside of our car and started walking towards this appartment. The first door that we knock on a teenage girl answers and she invites us in to talk to her and her older brother for a little. After about two minutes 5 more people walk in and sit down with us and the whole family is there. We talk and get to know them for a little bit and then the dad just says, so can you teach about God or what. We teach them the restoration and they absolutely loved it. I am so excited for them. We are going to teach them the Plan of Salvation tonight and are planning on drawing the whole thing out with sidewalk chalk at a park nearby. I am pumped. This is my first full family that I have been able to teach for awhile and they are so prepared.
Elder Moss and I have been praying and thinking about how we can have a huge miracle within the area and also among the other missionaries that we get to serve with. We decide to go around to all to all of the different district meetings and introduce Operation Save the Black Hold Nothing Back (I came up with that name and kind of want to get it trademarked. My companion is going grey and so I thought it was clever. Don't worry he's cool about it.) We talked about setting goals that Christ would set if he was the missionary here and how we need to get out of God's way because these are His children and He wants them to accept the gospel. We really got them excited and Elder Moss and I ended up setting a super high goal for all of the different areas. It is a goal that might not ever have been hit in the mission. But we feel confident that God will support us and that with great faith and consecrated work we can do it... Also all of your prayers won't hurt. I have to get going but I love you all and have an extravagantly excellent week.
Love Me
P.S. yes mom it is pretty humid and hot but it feels pretty nice not having frostbite.
P.P.S. Dad I remember when we all got back from France and had breakfast in at like 5 in the morning because of the time change. HaHa
P.P.P.S. J.W. Thanks for the advice. I guess it's really not greedy to ask for miracles.
