You Could See The Light Start to Come Back

So it was my birthday this last week which is pretty cool I guess. I still act like I'm 5 so I guess the whole turning 19 thing didn't change that which is fine by me. This last week was super cool and I don't know why but I feel like God gave me a little bit more of the Spirit then usual on my b-day week.
The baptism for J went super awesome and the Spirit was there the whole time. She invited 4 of her sisters to attend her baptism and all of them loved it so hopefully we can start teaching them as well. Right before J got dunked she paused in the water and started laughing and then her husband just shoved her under. It was hilarious and when she came out of the water, she was smiling so big and coughing up water. Definitely unforgettable.
Elder Moss and I have started teaching this guy named C this past week and it has been one of the biggest miracles on my whole mission. A little bit of background on C, he is in his mid twenties and has had a really rough life up to this point. He grew up in a gang (pretty much every Hmong guy in their 20's) and has basically committed every sin you can in every way you can. The first time we sat down to teach him, everyone in the room just got quiet and C leaned his head back, looked up and just started to cry. The Spirit was so strong. He told us how all he wanted in his life was a second chance and at that moment I was reminded of how amazing the Atonement really was. Rather then teach C the Restoration, which is what we usually do, we committed him to be baptized right then and he said yes. We asked him what he would give to be free from his mistakes and he said he would give everything. So we pulled out the baptism questions and started going through them. Right then and there we committed him to live the word of wisdom, and he passed over all his cigarettes. But we didn't stop there, we commited him to live the law of chastity as well and as we comitted him to live both these commandments, you could see the light start to come back into his eyes. We have another appointment set up tonight with him and I am so excited to see how it goes. Pretty awesome.
Also we have been teaching this guy named T for awhile but he hadn't come to church for awhile and was starting to kind of drop off and then this Sunday, out of the blue, he showed up to church in his army uniform because he had driven strait from his training to church so that was another pretty cool miracle as well. We are going to show him the outside of the temple tomorrow so he's about to get spiritually backhanded which will be fun to see.
But yeah things are going good and I'm still lovin it. Sounds like James had a sweet b-day party with the boys. JW, sounds like you have some super great buisness ideas but I have another one for you. Invent a white collared shirt that is scented so that when it rains, you don't smell like a wet dog sitting on people's couches as a missionary. That would be much appreciated. Dad that is super cool about Parley P. Pratt teaching our 15X great grandpa. I was companions with his 15X great grandson and he has become one of my best friends. Mom, you are awesome. Tanner, tell the Osterlohs hi from me. Libby, thanks for the Minnesota quarter and I will try not to spend it. Kuv hlub nej sawv daws. Mlig Mlog! (I love you all. Tiger Roar!)

P.S. Totally Hmong Posed at J's baptism.
Baked myself a birthday cake. Got it smashed in my face later but it was cool.
Dad I haven't gotten the card yet. Forgot to tell you this part. After J's baptism the members through me a birthday party and it was super fun so no worries mom and dad I still party hard. Happy anniversary.
